I've finally cast on for the double-moss stitch pillow back. It's knit in two sections, one with button holes for the i-cord knot button things and one flat panel. I'd been procrastinating casting on for this because knitting those hats has been a lot of fun! Now it's just miles and miles of double-moss stitch.
Yesterday my special little girl was spayed. The vet said that she was a little princess (this I already knew. I think it's a nice way of saying drama queen) and did a lot of whining. Last nite she cried the whole evening and most of the nite, but she's better this morning. No more low head and flat ears.

oh what a little sweetheart. they bounce back pretty quickly after the surgery. i'm sure she'll be her old self in no time.
