a crazy lot of stitches
Not a lot of knitting has been going on lately. I've made about a foot of progress on the Midwest Moonlight, but nothing really worth showing yet. Abby and I just finished the second to last increase row on the ribbon scarf. 1,600 stitches on the needles! Craziness.

I'm thinking about putting some beads on the last row (the edge) so that it better matches it's pink partner, Odessa. This morning, Abby has been my knitting buddy. I had some friends over last nite and we kept her up late, so she was more than willing to nap in my lap during our knitting time. She was briefly disturbed by the beeping of my new coffeemaker. It's super high tech-- timers and cleaning settings, and beeping when the coffee is ready. And barking when the coffee is ready.

Comments
i've not made this scarf myself, but a friend of mine made it and she said it came out quite short even though she following the pattern methodically. she said is came out about half the length of the picture in the book.
i hope she is wrong, but i just thought i should warn you especially since you are planning on putting beads on the last row.
