bichon modeling
I was quite productive at work last nite. Prepared some bills to be sent, caught up on my Martha Stewart Living, and made a lot of progress on my ribbon scarf. This morning, I finished! Finally! I am not sure I would knit another scarf like this. I have a problem with not being able to see progress. I also have a problem with having to cast off 3,200 stitches. It's lunacy. Sheer lunacy.
My little baby bichon thinks the scarf is hers. The way she just tosses it over her neck and prances like she's an important little model. Excuse me, but I must have my Milkbones. No, not the pretzel treats, I.... said.... MILKBONES!
Pattern: Ribbon Scarf from Handknit Holidays
Yarn: Rowan Cashsoft DK in Bloom Three skeins with 2 inches to spare. Seriously.
Needles: Inox and Boye circulars, sizes 5 and 6
Modifications: In the second to last row, I added some beading, one bead (the leftovers from the Odessi) every 40 stitches. Just enough to give it a little sparkle here and there.
I'm sure Abby is happy I'm done with this one, it means more time for me to be working on the bag (she thinks it's hers) with her favorite Noro yarn. Hopefully this weekend there will be felting!

Love the scarf though I agree a 3200st bind off sounds tedious. Abby looks so cute wearing it...I think she needs a mini. ;-)
